Dosing Recommendations:

A general daily dose of pellets is approximately 15grams or two tablespoons. Based on ~25mg per tablespoon/7.5gram. A pound should generally last one month at that dosage. Each pound of hemp pellets has ~1500mg CBD. Dosage is dependent on weight. For equine the suggested dosing is:

Miniature (<350lbs) = 10 mg

Pony (<900lbs) = 20 mg

Horse (<1500lbs) = 50 mg

XL/Draft (>1500lbs) = 65 mg

This dose is fed twice daily. However, starting at 1/3 of the dose and working up from there is recommended. For more severe conditions higher dosage can be used.

Aside from horses, these hemp pellets can also be used for many different species including, donkeys, mules, goats, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbits, dogs, and caged pets such as birds and pocket pets.
